Clinton Art Society 69th Exhibition Events; times, guidelines

Art Critique with John Massimino
Sunday, July 29   1:30 - 4 pm
Andrews Memorial Town Hall
54 East Main Street, Clinton, CT
Upon arrival, sign in with Name, Catalogue # (refer to program), and Title.

Plein Air Festival and Sale
Saturday, August 11, 2018 (no rain date)
9 am - 4pm
54 East Main Street, Clinton, CT
Paint OUTDOORS at Clinton Town Hall, Clinton Landing and Elliot Preserve.
Two 10 x 10' tents with racks and a cashier will be provided by Clinton Art Society.
Pre-Registration REQUIRED.  Must be a current CAS Member Artist.  
$25 Membership Fee can be paid that day.
Participating artist may bring up to 4 additional works for sale, matted with sleeve or wired frame, no larger than 14" in any direction complete.  All work must be clearly labeled with artist Name, Title, and PRICE.  CAS reserves right to refuse work for sale if not properly prepared or sized.
Upon arrival, go to tent, complete Inventory Sheet, help hang artwork on racks, and inform cashier where you will be painting so she can direct interested parties to your site.
No fees (other than membership) and no commissions.  Artists are expected to give a free will donation in lieu of commission on all sales.
Refreshments provided.
The loan of racks is needed and greatly appreciated.

Art & Artisan's Fair
Saturday, August 11, 2018
9am - 4 pm
INDOOR tables are available for CAS Members who produce ORIGINAL CRAFTS. 
One table per pre-registered CAS member.  Participants responsible for all presentation materials and to be on site (or provide designee) who will answer questions, engage customers, and take cash.
Paintings are for the plein air festival.  A display of artist's paintings is not eligible for a craft table.

Monday, August 13
9am - 12 Noon
Artists may arrive as early as 8:30 am while crew is taking down exhibit.
Please sign-out works in Inventory Binder.
Exhibit needs to be up during CT Opera's final performance.
Please make alternate arrangements if Monday 8/13 morning is an issue.
All work not picked up by 12 Noon will be moved to storage room upstairs.
A CAS Member can assist you MONDAY ONLY until 4 pm getting and signing out work.
After Monday, August 13, special arrangements must be made for pick-up.
Custodians will not let you into the storage room without special arrangements post 8/13.

CAS 69th Annual Summer Juried Exhibition - Accepted Works

Congratulations to all of the artists that entered in the 69th Annual Summer Juried Exhibition.  It was a very difficult and challenging task.  Our juror was so impressed with all of the work and we look forward to her reflections on the show which will be in our program.
Below is a list of accepted works.  Prize winners will be posted on the website Wednesday.
If your name and artwork title is not on the list, please pick up your non-selected work on Thursday, July 19 between 12-7 pm.  The sitter will assist you.  Please sign out your work in the inventory Binder on the Sitter's Table.
