It's hard to believe how quickly the summer is passing! Receiving for the Clinton Art Society's 67th Annual Summer Exhibition is one week away! I look forward to seeing you at Receiving Monday, July 18th from 2 - 6 p.m. in the Green Room at Clinton Town Hall. Enter from the rear of the building.
Remember to have your artwork wired, ready to hang. Bring a self-addressed stamped envelope and address labels or complete the entry forms in advance. Attach the entry forms to the right front of your work. This will make processing your entries quicker and easier.
All dues will be due on the day of Receiving. If you are an Elected Member, your dues is $25. If you have paid your 2016 dues or are paying your dues at Receiving, one work will will be designated as an automatic entry. Your second entry will cost you $10 and will be juried. If you are an Associate Member or new Member, dues will be $20. Entry fees are $15 for the first entry and $10 for the second entry.
Please help make the exhibition a success by signing up to volunteer to hand the show Tuesday morning 7/19, Strike (take down) Sunday, August 14 or at Pick-up dates. Volunteer to sit at the the show on one of the open dates. Sign up sheets will be available at Receiving.
The Artists Reception will be Sunday, July 24 from 5 - 7 p.m. with music by Russ Becker and Friends. Over $4,000 in Prizes will be awarded at the the reception. Invites for you to give to family and friends will be available at Receiving. Please volunteer to bring food to the reception - hors d'ouevres, fruit, snacks, desserts, whatever you can think of! - it's all good and adds to the success of the reception.
A Save the Date card letting you know about the Clinton Art Society Annual Meeting will also be available at Receiving.
