Westbrook artist Beverly Schirmeier has been involved in the arts for over 40 years. She is an award-winning member of the CT Pastel Society, Guilford Art League, Essex and Lyme Art Associations, as well as the Madison and Clinton Art Societies. She is currently the President of the Madison Art Society. She holds a BFA from Wayne State University and an alumnus at The Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts studying with numerous nationally known artists. Her work has been have been featured on Greenway Trails Annual Report, Essex Events and in Wethersfield Life Magazine.
Clinton artist Elizabeth Shea has had a lifelong love of the arts. She is a member of the Clinton Art Society. Local scenes are the subject of her whimsical watercolor and acrylic paintings. She has donated work to many non-profit organizations including the Y-Me Foundation, the Henry Carter Hull Library and the Lions Club where she has been a member for many years. Most recently, she has created note cards of local scenes for sale in Clinton Shops.
The exhibition is open during regular business hours. The Town Hall Annex is open daily from 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. The facility is available for public meetings and events on the www.clintonct.org website. For more information about Clinton Art Society go to www.clintonartsociety.info.
