The Clinton Art Association was established in 1949 by a small group of professional artists dedicated to growth of the arts along the Connecticut shoreline. The CAS has become a vibrant influence on the arts in Connecticut and its members represent towns across Connecticut and throughout New England. Member artists work in all fine-art media including painting and sculpture. Their collective talents bring styles ranging from traditional to abstract.

"Local Visions" Exhibit includes CAS members
Thursday, March 23 from 6-8 p.m. will be the opening reception for Local Visions II, a group exhibition featuring local artists (including Beverly Schirmeier and Liz Egan) curated by Jan Ayer with jurors William Childress,
Dennis Pough and Clare Rogan. The Zahn Gallery is located at Middlesex Hospital Medical Center, 250 Flat Rock Place, Westbrook (on the road into Tanger Outlets). The wine and hors d'ouevres reception is open to the public and is a great opportunity to support your CAS colleagues and become familiar with the gallery space. Madison Art Society and Clinton Art Society will each have special curated exhibitions there later this year. Hope to see you there!

Thanks for sharing about the exhibition. My friend is planning to book one of highly reviewed LA event venues for her bridal shower next month. She has thought of some interesting themes and surprises for all her friends and cousins.
